JUST ARRIVED! Our brand new Wine Barrel Parquetry cladding/ flooring French Oak is here!

Made from carefully deconstructed wine barrels. The barrel “staves” have been re-purposed into parquetry pieces, which are then made into longer and wider lengths.

The Parquetry pieces have many wonderful features; char marks, burgundy hues, and all the French Oak grain, rays and patina one would expect from beautiful French Oak.

Solid Kiln Dried French Oak Parquetry Block

These parquetry floors are made from new French Oak and reflect the tradition of hundreds of years old authentic European floors. These parquetry blocks can be laid in variety of patterns and finishes and can be used with other parquetry block to create borders or features, both interleaved and to frame the room. Industrial Original Patina French Oak Parquetry

This parcel of Industrial Original Patina French Oak Parquetry was sourced from the machine parts assembly room of a factory in France, which first began its life as a munitions factory, hence the wooden floor. Featuring the original, dark textured, thick, low sheen lacquer, some of which is starting to gently peel, revealing Prime Grade French Oak underneath (which is amazing).

Point de Hongrie

Just made available for immediate delivery into Australia, we have sourced this from France. Carefully and expertly lifted from a wonderful old apartment in Paris, Original Face Recycled French Oak Parquetry, “Point de Hongrie”, known as Chevron in Australia.

Approximately 500mm x 80mm x 20mm. There is a 600m2 parcel available, and it won’t last long.

Recycled Wine and Brandy Barrel Parquetry

French Oak Australasia sources antique wine and brandy barrels from Spain. After these barrels are carefully dismantled, the staves are sawn into straight sections, kiln dried, and milled into parquetry. The unique beauty of this product is derived from the red wine and brandy tannins that are still evident. Character marks and a subtle aroma add to the charm of this extraordinary floor.

This product is suitable for a Herringbone, Chevron, or Versailles parquetry design.
